Spotted Pond

This fairy tale piece takes into the forest beside a deep pond surrounded by lush green moss-- sometime in early fall when the leaves are beginning to fall.  This accidental arrival brings us to a place which is at first glance a little dark, eerie and mysterious. As we get comfortable in the scene-- we notice the white dove landing in nearby tree with the sun descending in the background.  It is a very peaceful and quiet place. A red stag, a golden ring of mushrooms, a castle and a mystery key give inspiration to the imagination.
